Review – Toy Story 3: the Video Game (PlayStation Portable)

The PlayStation Portable version of Toy Story 3 was entrusted to french developer Asobo, which did an acceptable adaptation of Pixar’s ‘Up’ last year. They’ve delivered the goods once more, with one of the better movie games on PlayStation Portable.
The Toy Story universe probably needs very little introduction, but fans of the movies will be pleased to know, that the PSP game is both quite enjoyable and faithful to Pixar’s vision.
Toy Story 3 on the PSP is a cute platformer, where you’ll traverse everyday environments to save the cuddly group of living toys, primarily in the guises of the two friends Woody and Buzz Lightyear. The game is composed of relatively easy platform sections, some light puzzles and a few stealth challenges, where you’ll have to avoid detection by janitors and frothing, toy hungry kids.
Game play is surprisingly varied; controls are simple across fast paced levels, which feel like playing the Toy Story movies in person. You never be punish unduly for untimely deaths, so frustration never rises even trough the games few difficult sections.
Great care has been taken in the presentation of Toy Story 3 on Sony’s little handheld. Characters look fantastic compared to their movie counterparts, environments are colorful and rich with details – Kindergartens are teeming with kids and playthings, Zurg’s fortress is foreboding and filled with neon lights. Voiceovers are authentic and the soundtrack appropriate energetic and close to big-screen quality.
Apart from the games story mode, a load of mini games are unlocked as missions are completed. Best of the bunch is Buzz’ attack on the evil Zurg’s fortress – here our galactic hero partakes in light shooting, delightful platforming and flying sections. Final Fantasy Cosplay Dresses
In there are many roles, but in my heart i always love the yuna. I believe most lovers of are addicted to her. She have beautiful appearance, i think the most important factor is her moving experience . In the final fantasy cosplay, when i see the yuna cosplay, my memory is aroused by the Yuna cosplay costume, so i want to share my understanding and moving on Yona with all the fans of final fantasy.
In the final fantasy, i still remember yuna’ first apperance, i will never forget the scene. when i was listening to the dainty music, the door began to open slowly. Few moments later, our heroine, yuna appeared in front of me. She weared a black boot and celeste skirt, at the same time she had golden bingle and tired face. I was deeply attracted by her. Her cosplay costumes are so beautiful that many fans want want to be wear them, and wonder playing Yuna.
I admired her pretty dance on a beautiful island. It was the first time to show us her beautiful dance. Soft sun ,clear seawater, and Yuna, without doubt they formed a beautiful and perfect scene. Yuna was excited to dancing on the beach with beautiful music. In this moment , Yuna just seemed as a goddess, a roguish goddess, a goddess who wants to save the whole world, and a goddess that can not have and master own future. Maybe at that moment, what she wonders to do is ending all of things ,through she knew she would die for it. I love her because that she has the courage of facing all difficulties. It is really good life attitude for us.
Next classical and eternal scene is happening at a black night. When she and Tidus are out of Seymour’hunting, they finally have a chance to be relaxed and chat. Tidus advice Yuna to give up her task , and go to Zanakand. Of cousre Yuna also want to have the happy life in Zanakand which is a place never has night, But she have to stop the fantasy and return to the realism. She have no choice ,because that she can not forget the trust of her father and all the Spira people. She is just a 17 years old girl, but she have to meet the cruel realism. I am deeply moved by her strong will. At the time, her heart is bitter,but also happy . she is painful of her life, and she is pleased that she can enjoy the short quiet time with her lover. In her heart, maybe it is the most happy thing.
The sequel of final fantasy is cruel, Tidus die of the fight between them and the last boss. His body begin to disappear slowly, yuna wants to embrace him ,but she fails. She has to accept the cruel realism.
Final fantasy gives us alive and perfect roles that just look like the real world people. All the final fantasy scene usually appear in my head. I love final fantasy cosplay, and I like final fantasy cosplay dress. Yuna can not change her fate, but we can. we not only play the role that we love and attain happy, but also we are finding and showing ourselves by final fantasy cosplay.

Impression – Valkyria Chronicles II PlayStation Portable (PSP)
Game developer and publisher Sega released Valkyria Chronicles back in early 2008 on Sony’s at that time struggling PlayStation 3. The game was met with broad applause from critics based on the title’s fresh take on the ‘tactical RPG’ genre and deep, rewarding gameplay. Praise that never translated to actual sales, and the title didn’t garner the attention that both press and the game’s ardent followers felt was due.
Sega was not to be deterred though, and banking on the PlayStation Portable’s immense success in Japan, set out to deliver a sequel on Sony’s handheld. Western release is starting to loom on the horizon, and when Sega recently released opened the lid on a demo version of Valkyria Chronicles II, we rushed to take a look, being loyal fans of the original PS3 title.
Based on the small slice that Sega saw fit to provide Valkyria hungry PSP owners with, the title has made the transition to handheld format with flying colors.
Valkyria Chronicles II takes place two years after the conclusion of the first game. Having defeated the threat from foreign invaders, the country of Gallian is set for more strife, as a group of young academy cadets finds them selves thrown into a gruesome civilian war.
For the sequel Sega has updated their already brilliant ‘BLiTZ’ combat system. As before, you take small groups of soldiers to battle, where movement and attacks are done in real time, with combat divided into friendly and enemy turns. Based on first impressions, Valkyria Chronicles II delivers the same perfect balance of live action and tactical consideration, which should provide the foundation for more of the series’ absorbing and addictive gameplay.
Taking your characters into action, issuing orders and staying aware of the battlefield is as intuitive and simple as ever. Given the available hardware on the PSP, controls have changed somewhat, but hardened Valkyria generals will have no problem adjusting with a minimum of hassle.
Using Sega’s ‘CANVAS’ engine the first Valkyria title was rendered using a delicate and visually impressive watercolor brush. While Sony’s handheld doesn’t posses anywhere near the PS3′s processing power, Sega has managed to successfully recreate the beautiful combat zones of the first game. An impressive feat to say the least!
Judging from the small glimpse that Sega has let us have, Valkyria Chronicles II is set to thrill both fans of the original and Sony’s PSP alike; gameplay is spot on, looks are impressive, and we can’t wait to get our hands on the final version, when it launches exclusively on Sony PSP come September 2010.
